How to Edit YouTube Videos with Official YouTube Video Editor
Electronic Gadgets

This is a great news for all of you guys who like downloading tons of YouTube videos from your YouTube account. In fact, YouTube, well-aware that an increasing number of its users like playing around with YouTube videos, has recently released an official, online  YouTube video editor which allows you edit your videos on the fly and online (without buying and installing any extra software!).

YouTube Video Editor, apart from letting you cut videos, also lets you add new soundtrack and music to them. Here is the short tutorial on how to access the online tool:

  1. Log in to YouTube video editor
  2. Once you are in, the online editor will show you thumbnail images of  videos  you have uploaded under the “My Videos” tab.
  3. Drag one of this thumbnail to the “filmstrip” located at the bottom of the page.
  4. Now, simply hover the pointer of your mouse over the video thumbnail you just dragged. You will see a pair of scissors appear (icon).
  5. Click the scissors icon to cut and trim your video.
  6. Now, if you want to change the audio or the soundtrack of your video, click the Audio tab.
  7. Done!

Kindle Update Includes Folders, Passwords, Twitter
Electronic Gadgets

Kindle owners may have had to sit by for a while as iPad owners got all the cool toys like Netflix, games and, oh, a color, backlit screen. But the latest software upgrade for the Amazon e-book reader promises a handful of niceties, including a Twitter client, password protection and better fonts. You can even -- drum roll please -- organize your books into folders.

The full set of new features in Kindle 2.5 includes:

Collections: Organize your books and documents into one or more collections.

PDF Pan and Zoom: Zoom into PDFs and pan around to easily view small print and detailed tables or graphics.

Password Protection: Password protect your Kindle when you're not using it.

More Fonts & Improved Clarity: Enjoy two new larger font sizes and sharper fonts for an even more comfortable reading experience.

Facebook & Twitter Posts: Share book passages with friends on Facebook and Twitter directly from your Kindle.

Popular Highlights: See what the Kindle community thinks are the most interesting passages in the books you're reading.

The new features will be available in late May, unless you're an early adopter using a first-generation Kindle. In your case, you can expect this upgrade just about never.

Kindles To Be Sold At Some Target Stores Starting April 25
Electronic Gadgets

Now that the iPad is upon them, Amazon has finally made a deal to unleash their popular Kindle e-reader to the bricks-and-mortar retail market. Amazon has made a deal with Target that will have Kindles in some of their stores as early as this Sunday.

The first stores to get the Kindle will be in south Florida and the chain's flagship store in downtown Minneapolis. These stores should start selling Kindles on April 25.

Target says it plans on rolling out the device for sale in all its stores, but gave no specific time line as to the whens and wheres.

Says a dude from Target, hopefully with a cool Minnesota accent:

Is this going to be enough for Kindle to maintain its E-reader market share? Or does its lack of color and it singular use put it at a disadvantage?
